Children's Book Illustration
I create character-led illustrations for children’s books, with a particular love for expressions, colour and the little details children notice. From first sketches to finished artwork, I work closely with each story to give its characters a look and personality of their own.
Original Art
I paint with acrylics and oils, exploring flowers, wildlife, boats and the subjects that catch my eye. From expressive brushwork to rich palette-knife textures, each painting offers something different to discover. Browse my original work or get in touch about a painting made especially for you.
Meet the Artist
I’m Nicoleta, an illustrator and artist based in the UK. I started my professional journey as a mural artist in 2011, and later found my way into children’s illustration after having my own children and beginning to create stories for them.
Being a mum of three and spending much of my working life around young children has shaped the way I illustrate — especially the expressions, small details and moments of humour that children notice.
